In fact, everyone in this world is the “I” in the book. We all have the little prince living inside of us - he always retains the initial innocence  of human beings, and he tells us about love, friendship and the world in his eyes.

The moments that reside on each planet are like the many fleeting moments in one's life. It may be a flow of light, and at some point meet someone who wants to spend their life together, just like the little prince met the rose that belonged to him. He had seen many roses and visited countless planets before he realized that the one on his planet was unique. That's like the process by which one understands what is love.
It may be low and chaotic, like the drunkard the little prince met, who tossed and turned but spoke only one word, ashamed of his current situation, but also unable to get out of such a predicament for a while. It may be busy and tight, with moments of hard work like an industrialist, or research like a geographer, where everyone is always focused and working on their own things. It can also be warm, valued, and not lonely, like the meeting of the little prince and the fox, and there will always be some friends around in one's life.

When “I” met the little prince, it seemed to be the moment when I touched my most innocent self, the most original dream. A man who can see a lamb in a cardboard box, who can recognize a boa constrictor instead of a hat in a painting, is not one of those “boring grown-ups”. Like a shadow, he tells his own story and takes us back to the past and memories, to moments that were once unappreciated.

Looking back at the Little Prince after we have all grown up, I think it is still a “book of life”. It uses simple language to illustrate countless stories of alien planets intertwined with Earth, scenes of realism and romance, and soothes those neglected wounds that seem to have fixed long ago. Time and time again, it heals and embraces our souls again when we feel lost.

So join me, here, in my interpretation of The Little Prince.

When someone is seeking, it happens quite easily that he only sees the thing that he is seeking.

——Hermann Hesse
